Dr. Russel Asnes

As a child

Internship/Residency:
Dr. Russell Asnes completed his pediatric internship at Boston City Hospital and his pediatric residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He spent two years as a pediatrician in the U.S. Air Force, then returned to The Johns Hopkins Hospital to serve as chief resident of pediatrics.

Boston University

Additional Background:
Prior to entering private practice as a founding member of Tenafly Pediatrics, Dr. Asnes was the director of pediatric ambulatory care at Babies Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

Dr. Asnes is currently an attending physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center. He is also a clinical professor of pediatrics at The College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University and an adjunct clinical professor of pediatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
